Asheville City Schools
Need Our two Cents
Asheville is proud of our public schools.
We have incredible teachers, staff, and school leaders who make a daily difference in our children’s lives. But right now, Asheville City Schools are at a crossroads.
The County Manager’s proposed budget for next year falls $3 million short of the Board of Education’s "no cuts" request. Without closing that gap, critical programs, staffing, and student support are at risk.
Now is the time to act.
